Robin Pendleton

Robin is the Senior Editor and Project Coordinator for Pyramid Books; a perfect fit considering her voracious appetite for books, her yearning for writing and her determination to expose others to the reading bug. Prior to joining the Pyramid Team, she was an editor, senior reviewer and contributing writer for a local ezine. Her debut novel,a romance suspense, More Than You'll Ever Know was released in 2003. She is currently working on two very different novels which she plans to have published in 2009.

In addition to assisting aspiring writers with their manuscripts through Pyramid Books Editing Services, Robin is also a book reviewer for Romantic Times Book Reviews Magazine, a national publication. In RT, she's had occasion to review advance copies of books penned by Essence and New York Times bestselling African-American authors, some of whom have been hosted by Pyramid Books for book signings.

Robin is also a poet. An admitted romantic, she pens poems for herself and others. She also enjoys writing odes, giving homage to people who have made a significant impact in her life personally, to the community, and globally.

“History shows that it does not matter who is in power or what revolutionary forces take over the government, those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they had in the beginning.”
Carter G. Woodson, The Mis-Education of the Negro
